About revolution in bangkok from witness

January 2014. I live in Bangkok and have a lot of questions like “Is it really dangerous to go to Thailand now, there is a revolution and all the horror that is going on – are you going to run to Russia?”

My answer to all is NO. It is not dangerous in Thailand – if you do not sleep at the wheel and do not want to rob banks and drug dealing. Thai people are very discreet. I still can not imagine how much emotion they manage to accumulate inside, because in fact they have normal emotions, but don’t show it. And such chaos when you can scream, whistle and be united and loud crowd – is the salvation for them. Demonstration happen in Bangkok every few years and there are not concern of tourists and foreigners.
